The Nyx

"We came here rather hungry and within I'd say 15 minutes we were eating, which was wonderful for us. We had the Sophie and this Smiegel, with sides of tater tots and mac and cheese. My husband asked for his burger medium rare and he said it was spot on. I asked for mine to be rare + half expected it to be medium rare like his since that's what usually happens, but not the case! So I'm a very happy lady if only for that reason alone. The only reason I knocked a star off was the music was rather loud and we had a hard time hearing each other over the music. It was 5:00 p.m. so it just seemed out of place to me at this time of day. I did have trouble calling to make the reservation bc it kept saying the phone was busy. But it was a weird type of message, so hopefully it gets fixed because I do believe one would have trouble getting in if it were a busier day or time. Be prepared for dirty hands when you eat the burger. It was so juicy - mine kept dripping all over the place. Not a bad problem, but just be prepared for it or you will be a mess. My husband washed his hands in the restroom afterwards and was disappointed with the lack of cleanliness in there. Otherwise, everything was stellar and everybody was friendly and efficient. There is an outdoor seating area that looks lovely. See the photos. Don't let the aforementioned small negatives deter you. It's great food and you will enjoy yourself!"

"Went here for dinner last night (12/23/25) with friends to try the place again because of a recent ownership change. We had a good time for sure. Place was full on a Tuesday night and the staff was busy but you never felt unattended to. One of the claims to fame was their burgers and was happy to see them still featured. 3 of us had burgers and they were delicious. Our 4th had something off the specials menus and enjoyed that as well. Looking forward to our next visit. Really like a 4+"

"My last few time here have been disappointing to say the least. Definitely don't get the ceaser salad. But I tried the nyx again and it was considerably better this time. So I upped my rating from 1 star to 3. I still believe this restaurant lacks something. They need to get more consistent. And there is no way I should sit at a bar and wait 5+ minutes to be served when there's only 1 other person at that bar. Also why couldn't the owner get me a drink or something. She was literally at the bar sitting and I almost walked out after waiting."

"Stopped in for a cocktail, or two, and decided to try some of the food. Their soup special was potato that was a thick traditional potato soup with carrots. Highly recommended but was let down with the French onion soup. Ordered a large Cesar that was top notch - adding strips of Parmesan would take it over the top. The steak and cheese egg rolls absolutely delivered, and recommended getting extra dipping sauce. Had a couple Wobbie cocktails - again, highly recommended."

"You Need To Know? Arrived at this corner bar in Clarks Summit around 5:45 on a Friday night. Parking was tough to come by & when we went in, by appearance we did not think we would be getting seated. Bartender asked us how many & we had 3 people. She then asked if the bar was good & we said if you have 3 together, well like a boss, this bartender rearranged & shifted some patrons to fit us in at the bar. Very much appreciated & the other customers did not seem to mind as they welcomed us & moved to provide room. We all had burgers We ordered the dutcher which was bbq sauce, cheddar cheese, & onion rings. We also had the Cooper which was Cooper cheese, fried pickle & horseradish sauce. Burgers come with fresh cut fries , tater tots, or sweet potato fries. The burgers were fresh & juicy. An excellent piece of meat but we all agreed that it was missing something. The Cooper needed jalapenos in my opinion or something else off the build your own burger list. The atmosphere was impressive & still decorated for the holidays. Staff & service was fast & helpful. Our bartender was controlling a very busy establishment without breaking a sweat. Great team work at The Nyx, check them out for sure! Now You Know! -TBH"

"The Nyx bar is a refreshing bar that serves unique and great drinks. My favorite drink at the moment is the pear martini and the orange crush (which they use fresh squeezed orange juice). The vibe in the bar is very welcoming and comfortable to be in. The bartenders are so attentive and respectful one of them sierra was making 4 drinks while taking an order and she got it all correct. Now the food is were it gets better. My favorite thing to eat so far is the penne and vodka pasta and the garlic parm wings. Unfortunately didn't get a pic of the pasta but those wings are to die for. Would recommend this place. The only complaint I have for this place is I wish it was open later."

"This place has and continues to be an amazing burger and beer joint! Their menu is awesome with other things, but really, the beer, burgers and fries are outstanding. The burger in the pics are their Koda burger, and the beer is the Burlington Uncanny Valley, a light but flavorful hazy IPA."
